Research Grants and Finance Facilitator

Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered

 

The Oxford Institute of Ageing is seeking to appoint a Research Grants and Finance Facilitator to provide an essential range of research administrative support for faculty, researchers, and staff, working closely with colleagues in other departmental teams and in the wider University.

 

The postholder will work closely with academic and research staff to support the development and submission of grant applications, liaise with University Research Services on project approvals, and assist with the post-award administration of successful grants.

 

You will also play a key role in supporting the financial management of the Department; provide quarterly project ledger reports for the purposes of quarterly forecasting and management committee reporting.

 

The successful candidate should have proven experience of research grant administration   within Higher Education or a comparable environment; or equivalent administrative experience; significant relevant experience of financial administration, including budget management and forecasting, use of complex financial software packages, and project accounting.
